Amor y Vida Fundraiser

The church we attend in our community, Amor y Vida, puts on a couple fundraisers throughout the year to cover its minimal costs.  Last Saturday night, Ryan and I went to a dinner & concert at AFE with our students and fellow neighbors from our community, Linda Miller.  Our students were all dressed up – it was so fun to see them in regular clothes!  Our students also performed and received dinner out of the deal, too.

Each plate was only 100 lempiras, and I made a comment about not dressing up because it was only about a $5 dinner.  Later, however, I heard that some people were going to be paying over the course of a month to attend.  I gained some huge perspective that night!
